Born to Go (but slightly later than advertised)
We're sorry to announce that our forthcoming title, Hawkwind: Days of the Underground, is now going to be published in the first quarter of next year, 2020.
It's been a appropriately monumental project for everyone involved: its author Joe Banks; its editor Mark Sinker; its cover artist John Coulthart; and its designers Richard Wilkins and Maia Gaffney-Hyde, as well as the host of contributors, and us, its publishers at Strange Attractor, and we all want to make sure that it's the finest book that it can possibly be.
We had hoped to get it out in time for Christmas, but it's just not going to be possible, but we hope that another two months wait, after half a century of Hawkwind, isn't too much to ask.
By way of thanks for the patience of those of you who have pre-ordered, we'll be including some appropriately far out bonus items in both the special and standard editions. That said, if you would prefer a refund on your purchase, that can also be arranged.
The book is in the final stages of production now, and we hope to see hard copies in Feburary, but we'll let you know once we have a sure delivery date.
Thanks once more for your patience and support, from all of us on the mothership DOTU & Strange Attractor.
And if you haven't ordered a copy yet, and would like to, now is still a good time >>> DOTU <<<<
