Just a quick note regarding shipping to our US customers
As most of you will be aware, the confusion over US tariffs is
ongoing.
We’re still awaiting clarification from our web store distributor
State 51 on the details, but we should have a clearer sense of things
later this week and will update you as soon as we know more.
The main takeaway at present is that if you’re based in the US and
have either an existing order with us or a pre-order in-waiting, we’ll
absorb any additional cost to make sure your order reaches you safely. There is
nothing to worry about regarding additional fees or taxes.
We’ve also been advised that all shipments to the US are currently
facing a two week delay, so apologies if this affects your order in any
way.
Books are supposedly exempt from the new tariffs, but our distributor
believes that both Royal Mail and the USPS will be imposing fees regardless.
Once the new system has been implemented by Royal Mail, the additional fees will
be added to any US bound orders at checkout.
This is expected to be roughly 10-15% of the product price; and meanwhile we
will continue to try to keep postage costs as low possible for foreign
orders.
Please also note that almost all of our paperback titles are available in
the US from all online booksellers via our distributors MIT Press.
